How to Play - Ghost Glory | Grinning Demon Games

Ghost Glory is a cooperative card game for 1 to 4 players. The cards represent the creatures that can be possessed during battle.

Keywords
The following words are used with specific meaning.

Zones
During the game, creatures will be placed into 1 of 3 zones: Possessed, Defender, and Wilds. Each creature has a different effect based thier location.

Damage
Creatures will be damaged during the game. Track the amount of damage a creature has taken with an indicator on the card, even if the card moves or turns face down.

Heal
When a creature heals, remove that much damage from them. Healing cannot remove more damage than they have. If the creature has no damage when an effect would heal them, they do not trigger healings effects.

Discarded
As you play, cards will be discarded. Choose a space in reach on the table to place discarded cards. This pile remains face up and may be viewed at any time. When discarded, any damage on the card is removed.

Replaced
When a creature is replaced, they are discarded, and a new creature is put into their place. Unless otherwise specified, draw the new creature from the top of the deck. If a creature is replaced during an effect that would cause it to trade positons or turn face down, complete that part of the effect with the new creature.

Revealed
A creature becomes revealed any time they are added to the table from the hand or deck or when they are turned face up.

Winning the Game
At any time, if the Defender has damage that equals or exceeds their Endure x 10, they are defeated and the players win.

If at any time there are no players remaining, the game ends and all players lose.
