Exemplar Abilities
Exemplars strive to hone their bodies to peak physical perfection. By following this path, you have chosen to strive for outstanding feats of bodily greatness that few can hope to match.
Stance
Gain 1 + TT Physical Reduction while unarmored and not Gripping a weapon.
Boost: Choose an Ailment. Determine the penalties from that Ailment as 1 + TT Tiers lower while unarmored and not Gripping a weapon.
Aspect
When you use Prepare, it allows you to advance up to 1 + TT/2 additional times during its effect.
Boost: If you Prepare and choose an event that includes an attack, if you attack the same target with your action, the target treats the attacks as only 1 trigger condition they can react to.
Talent
Gain +1 + TT/2 damage with Unarmed Strikes.
Boost: Choose Bashing, Chopping, or Stabbing. Your Unarmed Strikes gains the chosen Strike Type.
Aspect
Increase the Bulk you can Grip with each Manipulation Limb by 1 + TT.
Boost: When using Overpower, you can affect targets 1 + TT/2 sizes larger.
Response
After you are targeted by Hinder Movement, gain +1 + TT/2 on your defense.
Boost: 1 Resolve: If the attack fails, make a melee attack against the attacker.
Advanced Abilities
Those that practice and excel in the Exemplar style gain access to these more unique abilities.
Response
Requirements: 9 Combined Tiers of Athletics and Nimble
After suffering a Serious Injury, use a Major Action.
Boost: Gain +1 + TT/2 on the roll to use the action.
Aspect
Requirements: 7 Combined Tiers of Athletics and Nimble
Lock 1 + TT/2 Elements. While unarmored and not Gripping a weapon, gain 1 + TT Reduction against the Locked Elements.
Boost: Gain +1 on defense against Ailments.
Aspect
Requirements: 9 Combined Tiers of Athletics and Nimble
Reduce the time you need for Recovery by 4 + TT x 4 minutes.
Boost: Unconscious does not cause you Exhausted.
Response
Requirements: 11 Combined Tiers of Athletics and Nimble
2 Resolve: After you succeed a defense against a Melee Strike or Overpower, that effect attacks the attacker using the same attack roll result.
Boost: Replace their attack roll with 1 + TT d12.
Aspect
Requirements: 7 Combined Tiers of Athletics and Nimble
Gain +1 + TT on rolls to reduce Trauma afflicting you.
Boost: Gain 1 Physical Reduction.
Trick
Requirements: 7 Combined Tiers of Athletics and Nimble
Count as Focal Locked on yourself and your gear. Reduce your DL to Manifest Talents by 1 + TT.
Boost: After you roll any 12s in a damage roll, heal 1 Grit.
